Wood Takes Down 48-year-old Long Jump Record in VermontPublished by

That may sound modest by some standards, but not in Vermont. The all-time state record of 22-6.25 by Tom Titus of Champlain Valley had stood since 1969. The moment did not escape the Burlington Pree Press.
